Our Walking Tour is part of our special 2020 Summer Exhibit, “Our Women of Sandwich.”  Prominently displayed on various buildings around town are twenty posters highlighting an inspiring woman from our town's history.  In addition to their picture, their name, dates, and a couple of things for which they were known are also listed.  Each poster features a QR (Quick Response) code that can be scanned from a smartphone (you can download a QR reader from the Google or Apple store online), which will bring you, here, to our website to read more about the featured woman!  We have many who will not be able to visit Sandwich this summer, so please enjoy exploring the following pages (do not forget to visit our "Virtual Exhibit" highlighting even more women (past and present).

A map of our walking tour is provided on the next page.  Even if you are unable to take the tour, use it for your virtual poster tour!   Each building selected has something in common with the woman or women who are displayed on them.

Another component of our exhibit is the ability to 'add' to each page.  Do you have a story to share about the women honored?  Do you have an amazing Sandwich woman in your life (past or present), please share with us....a story, a little bio, a memory ... whatever!  As always, sending us a photo of your submission is most appreciated!

Enjoy and read on!
