Sponsorship/Giving Opportunities

The Society, which has served the Town  of Sandwich for over 90 years, endeavors to make this organization last for another hundred years. This takes work from talented people like you to supply us with the necessary resources to keep preserving Sandwich history. You can help us reach our goals and mission by sponsoring our publications, exhibits, programs, and facility projects. Each sponsor receives family or institutional membership benefits at the Society. Also included is recognition in the Society's publications and invitations to special programs. Please become a sponsor today and help us to continue our mission.

Publications Sponsor

The Society has published a research bulletin every year since 1920. The bulletins deal with a wide variety of local research topics including notable individuals, building history, genealogy, and education.  All of the excursion bulletins are available for purchase from the Society. To see a listing of bulletins and their topics, follow this link: Excursion Bulletins.

Two print newsletters and periodic e-newsletters are published by the Society every year. This document, sent to our members and friends, contains the seasonal review of the Society and is an important resource for researchers.

Planned Giving

The Sandwich Historical Society’s endowment presently provides for only half of our program costs.  Our policy is to use only 4.5% of the endowment for operations each year to preserve this valuable resource for the long-term mission of the Society. Therefore our goal is to increase the endowment to better fund the mission of the Society.

Through planned giving there are many ways to support the Society with significant current tax advantages while maintaining control during your lifetime, if desired. Please call the office (603) 284-6269 during office hours of email to sandwichdirector@gmail.com for more information.
